Jan. 11th 2020 - 200th anniversary of the Hokushin Ittō-Ryū
Dear guests, dear friends,
On the 11th of January the 200th anniversary of our school, the Hokushin Ittō-ryū Hyōhō, was celebrated at the Chiba-Dōjō, the honbu of our style worldwide. In total over 90 students and guests from all our shibu in Japan, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Switzerland, Portugal and of course from Austria, attended this historic celebration.
Mr. Sakamoto Tomio, the Deputy Consul-General of Japan in Bavaria held an amazing speech about our ryūha, its history and importance as a piece of living Japanese culture. He also expressed how grateful he is, that through our many branches worldwide our school contributes greatly to the spreading of authentic Japanese tradition and culture and connects people from many different countries all over the world.
Besides the 7th sōke - Ōtsuka Ryūnosuke Taira no Masatomo, also his predecessor, the retired 6th generation headmaster of our school, Ōtsuka Yōichirō Taira no Masanori was present and celebrated together with the guests and students.

The 1st seminarof the Hokushin Ittō-Ryū Hyōhōin Austria
Jun. 10th 2019 - First seminar in Austria!
Dear guests, dear friends,
We are pleased to announce the first seminar of the Hokushin Ittō-ryū Hyōhō in Vienna/Austria!
The Seminar will take place on 6th and 7th of July. It will be a great opportunity to get to know our famous school - Hokushin Ittō-ryū Hyōhō.
The 7th Sōke, Ōtsuka Ryūnosuke Masatomo, will appear in person and lead the seminar!

Feb. 25th 2019 - Official grand opening
Dear guests, dear friends,
It took a long time, but now we are ready! On Saturday the 2nd of March
the first official training of our club will take place! Before the training a small introduction and finally a small opening ceremony planned.
Before the training a small introduction and finally a small opening party are planned. Both the training and the celebration will take place in the "Shumeikan Aikido Dojo" in the basement of the Starlight Hotel.
Please appear on time!
The first training is FREE FOR ALL! For those who decide to join our club in the first week, we have planned some attractive special offers!!
