Hagunkai, association for koryû kenjutsu

A place where tradition is still alive!
Real Japanese koryû are still a rarity in Austria. Our club is therefore one of the few places in the Alpine Republic, where a Japanese Koryū - the famous Hokushin Ittô-Ryû Hyôhô is taught, but also a place where you can experience it properly!
Hagunkai is an official Dôkôkai of the Hokushin Ittô-ryû Hyôhô. Literally the name means "The group of Hagun". Hagun is the old Japanese name for the last star in the Big Dipper and has a deep connection to the philosophy and teachings of our school.
